Honey Pecan Cherry Cobbler

Everybody has a sweet tooth. Some people just have a bigger one than others but everyone craves something sweet once in awhile. Cobblers and pies, that's what does it for this beekeeper. And yesterday I had a bad sweet tooth attack. This Cherry cobbler did the trick for me and rescued me from my craving. There is no superior comfort food than chicken and waffles. It's a combination that on some level doesn't feel like it shouldn't go together but it does, and it's perfect. Something about the classic meal just feels like coming home. Maple syrup is the go to sweetener when eating this family favorite but at our house no meal is complete without pure and raw honey. Around here we like easy and delicious. And this recipe for baked sweet potatoes with a cinnamon honey butter spread is both. This healthy side can bring a meal together or be a meal in and of itself. The natural sweetness of the raw honey and the sweet potatoes complement savory steak, chicken, fish, or vegetarian options.
