These sweet and smokey sprouts are not only incredibly delicious, but equally as easy to prepare. Lovers of brussels sprouts will love this unique twist on their favorite flavors. Additionally, the sweet undertones soaked into the sprouts make this dish the perfect way to introduce these vegetables to picky eaters or others who may not be familiar with the side. This recipe works with any of our delicious honey varieties however, we feel the natural smoked flavors of our Smoked Honey pair well with this classic flavors of the balsamic vinegar and the sprouts themselves. Ingredients:
- 1 lb. brussels sprouts
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 3 teaspoons Smoked Honey
- Salt to taste
Instructions:

Preheat oven to 425°F.

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.

Trim off the dry, outer leaves, cut the bottoms off and slice the sprouts lengthwise.

In a large bowl, toss brussels sprouts with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and freshly cracked black pepper to coat thoroughly.

Transfer the brussels sprouts to baking sheet and roast until tender, about 20 minutes.

Place brussels sprouts in the bowl. Add remaining tablespoon olive oil, balsamic vinegar and Smoked Honey and toss to coat evenly. Taste and season with salt if necessary and serve.
