Cranberry Honey Salsa

The holidays are meant for gathering around good food with people you love. In many ways it is a shame that cranberries are reserved for the holidays because this versatile berry is a fresh and exciting ingredient that would be suitable year round. Regardless, whether you are hosting Thanksgiving dinner or a Christmas party, this unique take on salsa is a perfect appetizer. We used Tupelo honey for this incredible recipe but it also works extremely well with our Orange Blossom Honey as well.

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz. fresh cranberries
  • 1 bunch of cilantro, chopped
  • 1 bunch of green onions, coarsely chopped
  • 1 jalapeno pepper. minced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 3/4 cup tupelo honey
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Combine cranberries, cilantro, green onions, jalapeno pepper, lime juice, honey, and salt in the bowl of a food processor fitted with a medium blade. Chop to desired consistency. Refrigerate if not using immediately. Serve at room temperature over a block of cream cheese or a round of warmed brie.
